After Nigerian Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab came close to blowing up a U.S. airliner over Detroit on Christmas, MI5 picked up chatter from Pakistan and Yemen alluding to the creation of lethal breast implants. The threat was investigated, and it was determined that this approach is “one that can circumvent our defense.” Apparently a mere five ounces of PETN can bring down an airplane.
