The thing about the clip that I find particularly amusing/instructive is the way Zucker and Co. retained so much of the original dialogue word-for-word, yet its meaning and “emotional impact” is so drastically changed — a sort of Cinematic Letter vs. Cinematic Spirit of the Law.
