Hudson Down Under

Brenda Steele here: Deal is just now arriving in Melbourne, Australia, after a marathon flight. He seems no worse for wear, though I’m sure he’s excited to feel the earth beneath his feet after 25 hours in the air.

Deal’s trip will keep him in Melbourne, visiting old friends of InsideCatholic, Michael and Karen Hall, for 6 days, and then he’s on to Sydney where he’ll meet with Cardinal Pell and give a speech to a group of young, active Catholics at a dinner being hosted for him.

Meanwhile, Deal won’t be silent: We’ll still have his columns and posts to read, enjoy, or fume over (whatever strikes you). Managing the time difference of 16 hours may prove to be a feat, but with the help of counting backwards on fingers, we might just be able to pull it off. 

Anyone have suggestions for what Deal should see or do while in the Land of Oz? If so, please advise; I’m sure he would love some guidance.
