On November 13, 2024, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (RFK Jr.) was nominated as the Secretary of  Health and Human Services (HHS), a position of tremendous importance that oversees the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and various other agencies. But long before that, for 19 years, RFK Jr., who was raised Catholic and was, until recently, a lifelong Democrat, prayed for 30 minutes every morning to be in a position to end the chronic disease epidemic and restore the health of children in America.

In August 2024, when President Donald J. Trump invited RFK Jr. to join his transition team, it felt as though God was finally answering those prayers. A tremendous bipartisan effort made this nomination possible, dealing a significant blow to the leftist machinery of deception and misinformation. Trump’s re-election stood as a bold indictment of the military-industrial complex, Big Pharma, and the contemptible legacy media that is fading away.

The whole Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) campaign was a key ingredient to Trump’s landslide victory on November 5, 2024. RFK Jr.’s running mate, Nicole Shanahan, (another lifelong Democrat) produced powerful videos promoting not only MAHA but also MAGA, including one about Trump Derangement Syndrome titled, “Ask Your Doctor if Independence is Right for You,” another about the misunderstood MAGA movement, and one about the chronic illness epidemic. I encourage open-minded critics of Trump, RFK Jr., and the Unity Movement to watch these videos.

Trump claimed all of 2024’s seven battleground states—Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin—and also became only the second Republican to win the popular vote since Ronald Reagan in 1988. This moment marked one of the greatest comebacks in American political history, showcasing how good people can set aside their differences for the sake of unity. Not only America but the world will undoubtedly benefit from this collaboration. Positive changes are on the horizon, bringing hope not only to supporters but also to the skeptics. The future holds promise for America and the world at large.

Over the years, RFK Jr. has distinguished himself as a leader in advocating for health freedom and greater government transparency. In 2005, RFK Jr. began writing about the chronic disease epidemic, particularly among children; and the media took great efforts to silence him at a time when the silence coming from the majority of pediatricians, scientists, and government officials was deafening. Most notably, RFK Jr. wrote a widely read article, “Deadly Immunity,” that was published in the July 14, 2005, issue of Rolling Stone and, simultaneously, on the website Salon. Salon eventually removed his article in 2011. This should come as no surprise since the media is largely funded by Big Pharma.

Every year, Big Pharma spends billions of dollars on digital and TV ads. They also contribute significantly to political campaigns. The only high-income nations that permit unfettered pharmaceutical direct-to-consumer advertising are the U.S. and New Zealand. RFK Jr. wants to stop Big Pharma from running advertisements on television.

In 2016, to further combat this silence, he founded Children’s Health Defense (CHD)—an organization that, although based in America, has a broad global reach in terms of advocacy for vaccine safety, environmental health, and children’s rights. Despite the significant risks to his career, life, and reputation, RFK Jr. kept diligently moving forward with his mission. Now, with Trump’s victory and his nomination as Secretary of the HHS, his prayers are nearing fulfillment.

As debates over the future of U.S. health policy continue, RFK Jr.’s nomination as Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) has sparked both optimism among supporters and criticism from detractors. Renowned for his environmental advocacy and outspoken views on health freedom, RFK Jr.’s possible leadership could signal a significant change in how Health and Human Services addresses topics such as nutrition, vaccine safety, and government transparency.

Below I will examine why I believe RFK Jr. is the ideal candidate to bring about much-needed reform within the American healthcare system, which will hopefully have a ripple effect abroad, including in my home country of Canada, which is also in need of major reform. I will also discuss his views on abortion, which Christians find concerning, and some of the challenges he may encounter.

A Strong Advocate for Health Freedom

A History of Legal Action against Pharmaceutical Companies

RFK Jr.’s legal career is firmly grounded in environmental law, where he has made notable contributions to advancing public health and environmental protection. However, one of his most prominent areas of focus has been challenging major pharmaceutical companies, especially regarding their role in vaccine safety and public health. His legal efforts against Big Pharma stress the need for transparency, corporate responsibility, and the prevention of harm from unsafe products. Through this work, he has become a strong advocate for holding pharmaceutical companies accountable for their impact on public health.

RFK Jr. has long argued that Big Pharma prioritizes profits over consumer health, particularly in the development and distribution of vaccines. He has voiced concerns about the safety of vaccines, particularly the use of chemicals and additives like mercury (in the form of thimerosal) as a preservative in some vaccines. He often argues that the absence of thorough, independent scientific investigations into vaccine safety has allowed potentially harmful practices to become widespread. His legal actions aim to compel these companies to address safety issues transparently and take full responsibility for their conduct.

Vaccine Safety and the Role of Thimerosal

One of RFK Jr.’s most prominent legal battles against Big Pharma and vaccine manufacturers has centered on thimerosal, a mercury-based preservative used in some vaccines. Despite the removal of thimerosal from most childhood vaccines in the early 2000s, its widespread use in various vaccines continued for decades. The scientific community has largely rejected RFK Jr.’s vocal claims that mercury exposure through vaccines could link to neurological conditions like autism. This is well documented in his 2015 book, Thimerosal: Let the Science Speak: The Evidence Supporting the Immediate Removal of Mercury—a Known Neurotoxin—from Vaccines.

RFK Jr.’s legal efforts, despite the ongoing debate over thimerosal’s safety, have focused on pressing pharmaceutical companies for greater transparency regarding mercury’s use in vaccines and seeking compensation for those potentially harmed by thimerosal-containing vaccines. His advocacy for vaccine safety is part of a broader movement calling for stronger oversight of the pharmaceutical industry and greater accountability in vaccine production and distribution.

2016 Whistleblower Case of Dr. William Thompson

RFK Jr. supported the whistleblower case of Dr. William Thompson, a senior scientist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), who alleged that data linking the MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) vaccine to autism in African-American boys was suppressed. RFK Jr. has often cited this case as evidence of corruption within the CDC and the pharmaceutical industry.

On the Covid Debacle

His relentless efforts—with the aid of esteemed medical doctors such as the highly-cited cardiologist Peter McCullough and mRNA technology architect Robert Malone—to expose the corruption, misinformation, and incessant censorship surrounding the Covid crisis, which I have also critiqued at length in my book COVID-19: A Dystopian Delusion, were fundamental to exposing bad actors throughout Covid and elevating the truth about the Covid vaccines. At the end of 2021, RFK Jr. published a book titled The Real Anthony Fauci: Bill Gates, Big Pharma, and the Global War on Democracy and Public Health. This book has remained largely uncontested, and Fauci has not sued him for many of his damning claims, including crimes against humanity, suggesting that RFK Jr. is correct on his charges against Fauci.

As he advocates for healthier living through regular physical activity and better food choices, RFK Jr. has also advocated for the use of early preventative treatments like hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin, which are extremely inexpensive ways to combat Covid without the need for harmful mRNA vaccines.

If anything, RFK Jr.’s tireless efforts have shown, as evidenced by a recent discovery from the CDC (see below), the deep need for government transparency. RFK Jr. is advocating for informed consent. Informed consent is not possible without reliable, trustworthy information on the potential dangers of a medical intervention. It is also important to note that not all medical interventions work for all people; differences such as physiological makeup, one’s history of medical conditions, allergies, and so forth matter, and although they can work for certain patients, they may have detrimental effects for other patients.

Misunderstood and Misrepresented on Many Fronts

Unsurprisingly, RFK Jr., for years, has faced a smear campaign due to his doubts about vaccine safety. He has been labeled an “anti-vaxxer,” despite clearly stating in his 2015 book, Thimerosal: Let the Science Speak, that:

People who advocate for safer vaccines should not be marginalized or labeled as anti- vaccine. I am pro-vaccine. I had all six of my children vaccinated. I believe vaccines have saved the lives of hundreds of millions over the last century, and that widespread vaccine coverage is essential to public health. But I want our vaccines to be as safe as possible.

It is unreasonable to argue that the CHD’s and RFK Jr.’s efforts to promote stricter safety regulations and testing for vaccine development as well as the elimination of potentially dangerous chemical and radiation exposures are not noble humanitarian goals. It would be more appropriate and charitable to call him a “vaccine safety activist” rather than the derogatory phrase “anti-vaccine activist,” which is what the mainstream media purposefully and dishonestly always uses.

He has also responded to the charge of wanting to remove vaccines off the market by stating that:

If vaccines are working for somebody, I’m not going to take them away. People ought to have choice, and that choice ought to be informed by the best information. So I’m going to make sure scientific safety studies and efficacy are out there, and people can make individual assessments about whether that product is going to be good for them.

Interestingly, RFK Jr.’s position may receive validation sooner rather than later. Through a CDC insider source, American entrepreneur Steve Kirsch received 300 pages of evidence demonstrating that vaccines cause autism, a fact the CDC has allegedly known for over 20 years. On November 17, 2024, Kirsch made the following statement on his Substack about this recent discovery:

I recently received a treasure trove of electronic documents from deep inside the CDC. These documents have never been made publicly available.

The documents include voice-recordings, emails, hand-written notes, diagrams, and data.

The often repeated claim that “vaccines don’t cause autism” is quite simply inconsistent with this evidence which can be authenticated.

I am working with Trevor Fitzgibbon to pitch this to all the mainstream media so that I’m not talking to an echo chamber with this data. It is much better if we can get the blue-pilled media to red-pill their peers; it’s unlikely to happen any other way.

This is a huge scandal and our kids having been paying the price for decades all because the CDC doesn’t want to publicly admit they were wrong,

I spoke with a top journalist at Inside Edition who thought that it’s one of the biggest stories of the decade. He said he would try to interest his friends at 60 Minutes and other outlets in viewing the data (the story is too big for IE).

Readers should decide for themselves whether this discovery is true and watch what happens in the coming months. The main takeaway is that RFK Jr. is concerned about medical freedom more than banning vaccines or medical interventions. He wants to create awareness so people can give fully informed consent; without transparency, this is impossible. This aligns with his advocacy for free speech and his opposition to censorship, which he believes hinders individuals—particularly those with limited access to information—from making informed decisions about their nutrition and medical treatments, which are crucial for their physical and mental well-being.

It is worth noting that the former CDC director, Dr. Robert Redfield, has defended RFK Jr.’s nomination as Secretary of HHS

Focusing on Nutrition and Public Health

RFK Jr. has pointed out that BlackRock’s portfolio includes pharmaceutical companies that make huge profits from treating the ensuing chronic ailments, as well as processed food industries that contribute to health problems. This leads to an unsettling cycle in which one arm of their investments makes health issues worse while another makes money treating them. It is rather reminiscent of the song by Soul Asylum “Misery.”

RFK Jr. has been a proponent of holistic health approaches, emphasizing the importance of nutrition in disease prevention. His focus on natural foods and clean eating aligns with a growing body of research that underscores the significance of nutrition in public health. Under his leadership, HHS could prioritize initiatives that promote healthy eating, support local farming, and reduce the prevalence of processed foods in the American diet. This could lead to improved health outcomes and reduced healthcare costs in the long term. RFK Jr. has voiced his opposition to harmful toxins Yellow 5 dye and Red No. 3, which are present in ultra-processed foods. He has also advocated for reducing reliance on corn as cattle feed, which makes up 7 percent of animal feed. Further, he has advocated for a reduction in its usage to produce popular food items; corn represents 95 percent of total feed grain production and usage. Corn is used to cut costs and increase profits, despite its detrimental effect on health. High-fructose corn syrup, a significant contributor to cardiovascular disease, serves as a harmful substitute for cane sugar. Michael Pollan discusses this in his book The Omnivore’s Dilemma.

Casey Means, M.D., is a Stanford-trained physician, Chief Medical Officer and co-founder of the metabolic health company Levels, and Associate Editor of the International Journal of Disease Reversal and Prevention. She echoes RFK Jr.’s emphasis on the importance of preventative methods to avert illnesses.

Dr. Means explains that many doctors have betrayed their Hippocratic Oath. I argue that this has been particularly notable during the Covid crisis, but it has also been observed in everyday treatment, partly due to ignorance. During the historic Senate hearing on chronic disease and nutrition, Means highlighted the following alarming facts, among others:

  • It is not an overstatement to say that I learned virtually nothing at Stanford Medical School about the tens of thousands of scientific papers that elucidate the root causes of why American health is plummeting and how environmental factors are causing this.

Doctors like Dr. Means, who take their Hippocratic Oath seriously and prioritize the well-being of their citizens, surround RFK Jr.

On the Transgender Epidemic

RFK Jr. could have a positive effect in confronting the transgender epidemic, where he could potentially play a vital role in blocking the chemical castration of minors. Recently, he has expressed deep concern about this issue:

The more I learn, the more troubled I have become about giving puberty blockers to youth. Minors cannot drive, vote, join the army, get a tattoo, smoke, or drink, because we know that children do not fully understand the consequences of decisions with life-long ramifications. The prefrontal cortex, responsible for skills like planning, prioritizing, and making good decisions, doesn’t fully mature until the early to mid-20s. I don’t think children can genuinely consent to repurposed castration drugs (puberty blockers) and surgical mutilation, which have permanent, irreversible effects. People with gender dysphoria or who want to change their gender deserve compassion and respect, but these terribly consequential procedures should be deferred till adulthood. We must protect our children.

It is important to note that he opposes the competition between biological males and females.

On a Fresh New Vision Coupled with Integrity

One of the most compelling reasons for supporting RFK Jr.’s nomination is his comprehensive understanding of the intersection between public health, government regulation, and corporate accountability. His legal career has allowed him to navigate the complex systems of law and governance, often taking on cases that challenge large, powerful entities that prioritize profits over people’s health. From tackling pesticide use to addressing the dangers of toxic chemicals, his ability to understand and combat health threats in the environment showcases his comprehensive grasp of the larger public health landscape.

RFK Jr.’s advocacy for vaccine safety, which has generated both praise and controversy, offers an important opportunity for a constructive dialogue within the health and wellness community. His commitment to transparency and accountability in vaccine policy can serve as a stepping stone toward stronger, more effective health communication strategies. Critics may argue that his positions on vaccine safety are controversial, but his legal background and his access to a team of scientific and medical experts position him to facilitate crucial discussions about public trust in healthcare systems, amplifying the voices of concerned citizens and bolstering the significance of evidence-based public health measures.

In addition to his legal expertise, RFK Jr.’s focus on the ethical implications of healthcare practices makes him a potential advocate for a more humane and equitable approach to healthcare reform. RFK Jr., unlike many others, is astute in recognizing ethical issues surrounding matters such as drug pricing, access to care, and the social determinants of health. RFK Jr.’s ability to navigate these complex and often contentious topics with sensitivity and integrity would make him an effective and thoughtful leader in this capacity. And Trump has asked RFK to do three simple things: get the corruption out of the U.S. health agencies; produce uncompromised, evidence-based research for our health guidelines; and reverse the trends of the chronic disease epidemic in two years for children and adults so that we can show up for our 250th anniversary of America stronger than ever. That all sounds very reasonable and hopefully achievable.

Area of Major Concern: His Stance on Abortion

RFK Jr.’s stance on abortion has evolved over time, leading to mixed reactions. Recently, he walked back on his morally abominable view of full-term abortion. He has recently stated that “Abortion has been a notoriously divisive issue in America, but actually I see an emerging consensus—abortion should be legal up until a certain number of weeks, and restricted thereafter.” With Trump’s overturning of Roe v. Wade, the issue will be decided by individual states. One positive note is that RFK Jr. sees the importance of taking preventative measures to reduce abortions by “choice” rather than by “force.”

I would argue this would be through a revitalization of Christian values and reshaping the culture, as MAGA can potentially do. RFK Jr. is advocating for a policy gearing around “More Choices, More Life.” He has stated that “Every abortion is a tragedy, and by better supporting mothers, parents, and families, we can dramatically reduce abortions across the board.” There is truth in this. Although not ideal for defenders of life, in principle—through greater education, resources, and a reshaping of our culture (diminishing the culture of death so prevalent throughout Western civilization)—we can potentially see a great reduction in the number of abortions within America and worldwide. We can only pray that RFK Jr. becomes a staunch defender of life, but he is definitely a great improvement in comparison to the current Secretary of HHS, Xavier Becerra

Potential Obstacles

It is not certain that RFK Jr.’s prayers will be answered just yet, since the path to confirmation as HHS Secretary is fraught with political challenges, especially considering RFK Jr.’s ties to controversial issues. Even though Trump’s nomination could lend support, it may not protect RFK Jr. from pushback from both sides of the political spectrum. Some Republicans might question his suitability due to his progressive stances on nutrition, environmental issues, and abortion, while Democrats could express concerns over his history with vaccines and abortion.

Furthermore, RFK Jr.’s potential confirmation could become a focal point in broader political battles. Given the current polarization in U.S. politics, senators may leverage his nomination as a platform to rally support or opposition on related issues, complicating the confirmation process. The hearings could delve deeply into his past statements and positions, raising questions that could impact his ability to secure the role. As Peter McCullough discusses in a recently published Substack article, Big Pharma and Big Food companies will do everything in their power to prevent RFK Jr.’s senate confirmation as secretary of HHS:

The combined lobbying power of BIG FOOD and BIG PHARMA is formidable and united to stop Robert F. Kennedy, Jr, from becoming the next Secretary of Health and Human Services. In a recent conversation with Chanel Rion on Fine Point, One America News, we discussed the authority vested in HHS and why Kennedy leading this powerful agency of the executive branch would be so threatening to corrupt food and bio-pharmaceutical interests.

Because the corrupting influence of the food and bio-pharmaceutical industries within government agencies has become so pervasive and profitable, the specter of RFK coming into power must be terrifying. In the next several weeks we can expect every tactic and gambit of opposition politics to be deployed.

There are also concerns that Trump has surrounded himself with some Operation Warp Speed “accomplices,” such as Dr. Oz, Senator Marco Rubio, and Dr. Janette Nesheiwat, who could potentially put hindrances to RFK Jr.’s MAHA. Trump also has yet to offer any regret over his major role with the Operation Warp Speed program, even though the Biden Administration and other governments throughout the world were the ones responsible for imposing draconian measures that violated bodily autonomy and medical freedom by compelling people to take the Covid jab for fear of losing their rights and freedoms, including their employment.

Concluding Reflection

While some may argue that RFK Jr. and many of Trump’s nominations lack the necessary bureaucratic experience, this is precisely the point. For various reasons, corruption, inefficiency, and incompetence have plagued lifelong bureaucrats, preventing them from providing their citizens with the services they deserve. Under normal circumstances, we would prefer “competent administrators,” but we have long since departed from that world. Perpetual crises plague our world, from economic destruction and currency debasement, where the globalist “elites” treat the “peasants” (everyday working people) with disdain while consistently diminishing their purchasing power, to continuous wars that result in fortuitous deaths, and the ever-expanding chronic illness epidemic, which the food industry and Big Pharma, particularly in Western nations, perpetuate.

People have had enough and are seeking change. Indeed, extraordinary times demand extraordinary measures. This is where Trump’s unity team steps in, bringing in outsiders who are not only extremely intelligent and talented but also possess integrity. These individuals include RFK Jr., J.D. Vance, Elon Musk, Tulsi Gabbard, Vivek Ramaswamy, Nicole Shanahan, and others. Notable nominations include Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, who rightfully opposed the Covid lockdowns, as Director of the NIH; Dr. Dave Weldon as the Director of the CDC; and Dr. Marty Makary as Commissioner of the FDA.

This is not to say that there is nothing to worry about. Some of these individuals hold questionable ties and positions that can threaten the hoped-for success of the Trump Administration, including Vance’s being bankrolled by CIA/Mossad backed billionaire Peter Thiel; Ramaswamy also has ties to Thiel; Musk has transhumanist goals with his Neuralink; Shanahan’s funding of Event 201 (a pandemic simulation); and Gabbard defended the Covid vaccine rollout. These should be of concern, but that is a subject for another day.

Nevertheless, it is my sincere hope that those who have been deeply involved in corruption regarding these health agencies, people like Anthony Fauci and Dr. Francis Collins (former head of the NIH), will be brought to justice for their involvement with the gain of function research, pushing of all the Covid measures, especially the Covid vaccine mandate, push, and demonization of those in opposition. Let’s see where all of this leads the U.S. and the rest of the world and if God is indeed answering RFK Jr.’s prayers of the past two decades. Even though these are areas of concern, this team, with RFK Jr. playing a prominent role, undoubtedly presents a brighter future than one with Kamala Harris—by far the most disastrous presidential candidate in U.S. political history—at the helm.

1 thought on “Is RFK’s Nomination to HHS an Answer to Prayer?”

  1. What a wonderful summary of why we need RFK Jr., and of the forces that will be arrayed against his securing the nomination!

National Review magazine derides RFK as a “weirdo” and says he shouldn’t be in that key post because he lacks administrative experience. But we need a visionary, not a bureaucrat, in that position; RFK Jr. can hire lower-level bureaucrats to carry out his goal to shake up our corrupted and compromised health establishment.
